Merry Christmas! I wanted to do a quick recap of the holiday crafts and decoration I created this month and share a few snapshots of how I have things set up at home.
(black and white Nordic ornaments)
(Nordic gnomes)
(red and white Scandinavian wall hanging)
(advent candle holder)
(hanging Scandinavian felt heart trio)
(felt mistletoe)
(modern nesting dolls)
(pom pom garland)
(modern peg doll nativity)
To add a snow-like element, I decorated the walls with some grey jack wall decals. They’re fun and modern and about the closest thing to snow we’ll get around here! And in case you’re wondering (cause guests always ask) that brown box thing on the wall is our garage door opener. I think it’s cool and old enough that it can pass as vintage. While our new home has a fireplace it doesn’t yet have a mantel so I hung up my son’s advent calendar on a coat rack. This particular advent calendar is my own and I’m adding making an advent calendar to my list of things to do next year. My son wasn’t particularly interested in this concept and there are plenty of little stockings that still have their candies inside.
I set up our fake Christmas tree for my son to decorate and he snagged our tree topper so I had to come up with something for our live tree. I made this tree topper with things I already had on hand.
I received product from Cozy Wall Art for review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Enjoy the holidays! I still need to figure out how to take some bokeh photos of our Christmas tree lights…
